Command Center Question
I replaced my C drive with an SSD after windows reinstall at power up the computer seems to remember the last command center settings even with out installing the software. so lighting and vents come on like in the past - do a need the command center software installed or only if i want to make changes to the settings. Just trying to strip down the system to the bare minimums and make it a game only system..
Thanks Bruce.
Computer is Alienware Area-51 ALX

As Tesla1856 said without the command center you won't be able to monitor the temperatures or change the settings. I would recommend that you install the program.

It's an independent motherboard running a program. Without Command Center installed, it will continue to function until it's program is wiped out. Lights will work and radiator fan (and other fans) should still work (as last programmed to).
Of course, without CC, you can't monitor or change settings. This is not really a supported config, but I HAVE seen it work before (for short periods of time).
