Computer clock off by 30sec daily
The clock in my aurora is highly inaccurate, behind by 30 secs daily. I need to ajust it every daily lest the accumalative error getting out of whack. I just put a new battery, and the problem still persists. Is this normal? Any solutions?
TIA.

Your system clock is not very accurate. It happens.
Their is a workaround. Change the sync time in the windows ntp client from the default 7 days to a faster time frame. Below is a link to a how to guide. The guide is for vista but it also works for Windows 7

Thanks for the nice tip. I just reset the sync interval, hope it'll hope.
As an aside, it doe irritate me to realize the clock in my $3000+ computer keeps less accurate time than a $5 quartz watch. Never had this problem with my older computers.

Some motherboards have a better clock then others within the same series. That's why I use NTP with a faster time sync on all of my computers/servers for an accurate time.
