Hi metalslug636‌,

The Alienware Alpha will be a pretty nice option if you want to stay with consoles.

Thanks for the advice. What version of the Alpha would you recommend?

Any of the last 3 configurations (those are Alpha R2), but not the first configuration since it is an Alpha R1.

Hard to configure and buy gaming-class desktops that are "barely good enough"  to do some minimum FPS in some particular game.

It also depends if you are displaying it at 1080p, 2K, or 4K.

If game supports PhysX, I think you will get a nice boost by using Nvidia card (as physics co-processor). You might want to research and decide now if you want stay with AMD (like most current-gen consoles) or make the jump to Nvidia (green team). I suppose both have pros/cons.

I would say buy the "nicest and most powerful one you can afford". A "loaded" Aurora-R6 should do it. It should run new games 2 years from now also (and be upgradable to run games 4 years from now).

Side Note: Lame they call it "Battlefield 1" ... the first Battlefield (Battlefield 1942) came out in 2002 (and yes, I played it ) ... Battlefield 2 came out around 2005 ... and on from there. Should really be called something like Battlefield 5 or 6.
