CPU Temperatures
Hello Guys,
I have an Alienware Aurora Desktop that includes an Intel i7 930 Overclocked by Alienware to 3.4GHz. I also have liquid cooling from Alienware. At idle, my CPU runs at about 44C. This seems really hot compared to what I have read. At my CPU's max performance, it has reached 77C. Is this too hot? Is there something wrong with my product?
Thanks!

Also, the temperature in the room the computer is in is about 80F.

For the idle temp ranges from 35-45c are fine for that. I just noticed the overclocked part, so not sure if 77c is good for that being done or not. The CPU should throttle down though if it is getting to hot.
Edit: Failed at reading the first time through.

Dont worry everything is safe if worst comes to worst Intel will throttle back the speed if neccisary but it fine at those tempratures the tempratue I would be worried about for a CPU is 80C.
