Disappointment

Question

I am very disappointed and angry right now. I bought my M17 about 2 weeks ago and have had nothing but problems with it. I bought it mainly to play games on and yet I cant play Skyrim on it for more than 5 minutes without the computer doing some kind of crash. When I got it certain things were not installed correctly so Tech support had to uninstall and reinstall certain things but by that time it was to late because one of those things was Mcafee. I was bombarded with viruses pretty much the first day, although I didnt know it. I ended up calling tech support after I called them a first time and was told that it was a software problem and it would charge me to fix it, even though it was Alienware's fault I got the virus in the first place. I cant play any game on it, I cant search for anything on google or yahoo. I don't understand the point of paying as much money as I did for it, buying the best warranty I could buy, only to be told I have to pay to get it fixed when it was broken on day one through no fault of my own. I have called tech support four times since I had the computer, well four times that I was connected, I called more than four times but was disconnected and I think one time hung up on. It has had nothing but problems since I bought it and they are offering no way to fix it. So now I am trying to return it but cant get a hold of anyone. I had a Mac before this and never in the years that I had it have I ever had a problem. I spent over 2400 dollars on this laptop and I expected a lot more than this. If I was a tech savvy person maybe I could fix it myself, but frankly I only know how to surf the web and play games. College starts again in January and now I may have no computer to do my homework on, I cant play any games, I cant do searches...so basically I paid that much money to look at the pretty little lights. Oh did I mention that when I got it the wrong video driver was on it and that it was incompatible with other software on my computer, so they had to uninstall that one and reinstall the correct one? All I want is to either get this computer fixed right, so that I can do what I bought it do, or I want a refund. So if anyone can help me fix it, or tell me how to actually contact someone who will answer there phone about a refund, that would be great.

go into bios(look for which key to press when its booting). set boot device to your dvd drive. put in your windows cd. format the hardrive. install win 7 on partition. reinstall drivers from dell site.  This will fix any software problem and remove any virus.

He is telling you to reinstall windows. It is the only true way to be sure the virus is gone. It will also fix any issue with windows.
