Hi,
There's no risk whatsoever because the Aurora R4 is fully compatible with Windows 7. Simply back up your data and follow the step-by-step instructions in this video to clean install the OS.

I have the same computer, and I had installed W8 last year.
I had to clean installed the OS recently and I have to say I am more than happy to return to W7. I wont reinstall W8.
