Error event; disable Intel Extreme Tuning Utility?
My Aurora has become seriously unstable. I regularly get the following error displayed in Event Viewer:
Error : Unhandled exception detected while executing virtual device command response.: CDV(READ_ITEM_DEFAULT, 366, MEMORY_FREQUENCY_MONITOR) : Inputs=[ (HOST_CLOCK_FREQUENCY,133) (MEMORY_MULTIPLIER,) ] := Error calculating derived value!
Calling StackTrace: at Intel.PerfTune.VirtualDevices
Using MSCONFIG/Services, I see Intel Extreme Tuning Utility running. I don't know what this is for, but it seems to be mentioned in the error message. Can I safely disable it?

It is safe to disable it, go ahead and do it. Let me know how it goes.

The best forum to post this in, is the Alienware Owners Club, I am moving the thread to it.

Thanks! I have two Auroras, one two years old and one three years old, and they are both having stability problems of totally different natures. I'm currently collecting information, and I'll post about both when I have more info. Is this the best forum for doing so? Thanks!
