Intel Rapid Storage Help

Question

Hello and thank you for taking the time to help me. Today I had to do a fresh install I have 2x 750 gig hard drives that I have in Raid 0 and as you can see by the photo's I have attached Intel Rapid Storage has them set in Raid but when I go to my computer its only showing one hard drive at 697 Gig should it not read 1,397gig like IRS has it set to ? and ideas thanks again.

Hi!

It looks like the RAID and cache drive wasn't set up correctly. The RAID 0 shows the correct storage space in the IRST but not on My Computer, and the 60GB SSD shows as a caching device even though the page says the acceleration is disabled.

I recommend recreating the RAID and starting from scratch. Follow the instructions below:

Delete the current RAID setup and re-create the RAID 0 by following the steps in this article.
Follow the step-by-step instructions in this video to do a clean Windows installation.
After you've installed Windows, install the drivers in the correct order specified here.
Then, you can enable the acceleration on the SSD by following the steps here.
