I know what you are talking about because mine use to do that as well. This time however it has been hours and my icon still has a yellow error over it. I have some sort of issue going on. Thanks for the input.

My RST icon always looks like that when I first boot up. After a couple of minutes, it changes to a green check mark. I'm pretty sure that is normal.

That fix is for the old problem where people would run their SATA drives in IDE mode. I doubt that is your problem. Your BIOS is set to RAID, which is correct for your RAID-0.

Have you backed up recently? Might be a good time to get an Image Backup of any partitions on those SSDs.

My guess is that the upper IDE Controller is the separate JMicron for the Opticals.

The lower Intel ICH-10 is the RAID-0. Looks like a pretty generic driver version (and not named like mine ... but it probably should be). If you go to Properties on it, does it say Intel or Microsoft.

And what's in "Other Devices" ?

I could show you what mine looks like, but it's not going to look exactly like yours because we have slightly different machines, plus I don't run a RAID.

Thanks Teslsa for your reply. The other devices is my NAS device. I am currently running a RAID 0 and a RAID 1 in my system. I know my drives are healthy from the BIOS - RAID controller screen (they show in green and say healthy for my RIADs).

Anyone else running RAID on an Area51, can you post a pic of your device manager IDE controller?
