M11x Hinge Repair?

I bought my M11x in late January and it came with a 1 year warranty.  About halfway through the warranty, I came across this Dell blogpost:

http://en.community.dell.com/dell-blogs/direct2dell/b/direct2dell/archive/2011/09/07/dell-to-repair-broken-hinges-on-alienware-m11x-systems-globally.aspx

In the post, it is said that the problem will be solved even if the warranty had expired and not to contact them preemptively.  Therefore, I decided not to contact them even though my M11x was starting to creek occasionally.  However, recently, my hinge became busted and when I have to adjust the angle of my screen, I have to do it very delicately.  I am afraid to adjust the screen too much and cause further damage.

I emailed the address in the blog post 2 days ago but have not received a response.  I was wondering if anybody knew if that email address was still valid and if not, is there another way to contact Dell support?  My warranty has expired so I am unable to use support.dell.com.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

AWSocialMEdia@dell.com should work fine AwesomeAuger. I'll take care of the issue personally (need your service tag, phone and a brief description of the issue)

Thank you for responding, but I have already received a response and just received a shipping box today.  Thanks though!
