M14X battery life problem
I just got my alienware about 6 months ago, and the battery only stays on for like 1 - 1.5 hours with the lights on, on balanced mode, low brightness, its been like that ever since i got it, its still on warranty, i just want to confirm that there is something wrong with the battery, is there a test i could make ?

Hi josh millerr,
Alienware M14X R2 is offered with 8-cell Lithium Ion 64WHr battery. The performance of the battery can vary, depending on operating conditions. Your battery may last less time if you are running power-intensive programs or have high display-brightness settings.
The battery charge gauge includes a status button and five LEDs. It is located on the battery, and can be seen on the underside of the unit.
To check the battery charge, press the status button. The number of LEDs that light up indicate the remaining battery charge. Each LED accounts for approximately 20% charge.
To check the battery health, press and hold the status button for at least 3 seconds. The LEDs indicate the following:
No lights – Battery in good condition and approximately more than 80% of the original charge capacity remains.
One to four lights – Approximately 60% to 80% of the original charge capacity remains. Each light represents approximately 5% degradation.
Five lights – Approximately less than 60% of the original charge capacity remains. Battery replacement is suggested.
