M14X performance drop

Question

i've always been playing LoL, and from the first time i bought it, i could play it on max settings without fps drops etc. but now, it doesnt matter if i play it on max settings or the lowest possible settings, it always starts of at 60fps for 10-15 mins, and then the fps just drops to a point where i cant even play properly, thought it might be because of my hdd getting filled up too much, so i restored the laptop, but the same problem still happens T.T from there on even system bootups starts slowing down and basically the entire laptop is slowing down, need help

Hi ficotatoe,

It can be annoying when the system does not perform optimally. I suggest you to clean the air vents with a can of compressed air and run the hardware diagnostics to check if all the components are working properly by following the steps provided in the link below:

I ran them both, for the diagnostics, the only error was that my battery was reaching the end of its usable life, everything else passed, as for the Microsoft Fixit, all the tests passed. So I guess I will just have to clean the air vents. ^^
