m15x upgrading gpu
I have a m15x p08g with a 5850m in it and i wont be able to afford a new gaming laptop for a good couple of years so i was wondering that if for now i could upgrade the gpu.

Thanks for the replay but i have two other questions one is will that be ok with my current cooling or will it over heat and my second question is that is about the price of the m290x would i be able to do that.

It's possible, but the cards are not inexpensive.

I don't think the m290x was ever offered in this model - bear in mind that the BIOS has to support whatever card you install, so it must be one that Dell shipped for this model. Even if the card physically fits the system, it won't work unless the BIOS recognizes it.

Thanks but the 460m is still very slow i guess i will just try and figure out how to get a 6990m in there.
