M17 R2 keyboard backlight colors not working
I recieved my M17 R2 about a month ago, and it seems to be working o.k.
In the past week, the keyboard backlight color scheme doesn't seem to want to stay as selected. I either get one solid color (at random) for everything, or the keyboard goes totally dark.
I'm not getting any errors, and the Dell System checker isn't finding anything wrong.
Does anyone have suggestions?

There could be a problem with the software, try to uninstall the command center and download the latest version you find in the Dell support site.
Let me know if that fix the problem.

when i run the Dell Diagnostic tool, the keyboard lites reset to the correct pattern, and the tool finds no issues with the hardware or software

I'm pretty sure you didn't mean to give me the link to the spanish language version of the website.
also why would my brand new alienware not have the most recent software?

Is not that the software is not up to date is that it might be corrupted, that is why I recommend you to uninstall the driver and download it from the Dell website.
