m17x r3 lag problems

I also had a cooling pad for my m17xR3, but my padfans were not in the center of the Laptop fans, so it did nothing to my temp.

However!   I use Msi afterburner to check my temp, and it went all the way to 78c, that beeing the throttle point.
Then my alienware will "lag" downclock alot and all will lag as hell ;)

My solution to this is, elevate the rear with or without the cooling pad.

If that fails you might got a GPU with a bad thermal paste/heat pads.  A dell technichian will fix this, if you dont do it yourself ^^

AND the latest nvidia 301 beta drivers made my temp sky rocket!

Last option is dust in the fan ^^

i can t contact any technician because i live in cyrpus a small island ..... i use the hwinfo to increase the speed of my gpu fan because of the throttling but now gpu fan is not work properly:(

now both my gpu and my cpu is overheting...after 5 min of play codmw3 i have this temperatures gpu:95c and cpu:90c

i have one question for you chris.....can i use the warranty in my country(europe) and btw you don t check the systems before they sell it????
