Hello Ian,

I would suggest a clean re-installation of the video drivers. That is, uninstalling and re-installing the video drivers. If not, please follow the steps:

  1. Open Device Manager (Start -- Control Panel -- Device Manager).
  2. Expand the tab for Display Adapters and right click the video card.
  3. From the drop down menu, select “Uninstall”.
  4. Ensure to check the box “Delete driver software for this device”.
  5. Restart the computer.
  6. Once the drivers are uninstalled, re-install the latest drivers from Dell Drivers and Downloads.
  7. Restart the computer and check the functionality.

Hope this helps!

Hello Ian,

Please help me understand few details to about the issue.

  • Since when are you facing the issue?
  • Is it happening only while watching movies and videos?
  • Are watching online videos or videos saved on the hard drive?
  • Were there any recent hardware or software changes made on the computer?

Please write back with the details, I'd be glad to assist you further.
