Hi, what i meant was if I'm going to play games while on battery, how do I have max performance w/o plugging in the AC.

Set your Power Profile to High Performance or create a new one based on High Performance.

Then, go into each settings (for AC Adapter and Battery). Max them out or make Battery parameters the same as the AC Adapter ones.

Hi AlienFanBoy,

Please follow the steps mentioned below to change the power settings to High performance.

1.    Open ‘Power Options’ by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type ‘Power Options’, and then, in the list of results, click ‘Power Options’.
2.    When the ‘Power Options’ window pops up, Check for ‘High Performance’ plan.
3.    If not able to locate click on the down arrow beside ‘Show additional plans’.
4.    Select ‘High Performance’.

Please let me know if this helps.

I'm using high performance when on battery and I change all the settings in the Alienware Command the same as when it's on A/C. But whenever I'm playing any game when on battery it will be lagging unless I plug in the a/c. Any advise?

 Hi AlienFanBoy,

Thank you for the update. Due to the power limitations you may not be able to gain optimal performance while gaming on battery mode.
