MOTHERBOARD FAILURE/ SHUTS OFF EVERY 30 MIN - ALIENWARE

I have an ALIENWARE M17, 2 years old. It shuts off every 30 minutes. My technician says is not overheating, is not the fans, not the hard drive, he told me the motherboard has a failure. This computer is too expensive for the motherboard to fail with just 2 years of having it? also, is not used on a daily basis. Somebody can help?

Hi,

So I assume if your technician told you its not overheating, he ran tests on the GPU and CPU to check temperatures correct? What were the temperatures, how high do they go? When a computer turns completely off by itself, its usually an overheating problem. There are several things that can cause a motherboard failure. For example, overheating, power outages, dust, dirt, etc. are all things that can cause a motherboard failure over time.
