My alienware pc is dead
Problem started with a pc freeze.
Then windows could not log : i have the bootable cd, but it only showed the ugly ET face, and i was back to error message menu (error is oxc0......01 : winload.efi is missing).
And now, when turning on the pc, the fans run very fast, and the pc shuts down. I guess the pc is dead. Anything i can do ? The pc has just more than 1 year!!

What model of Alienware PC do you have?
Try unplugging everything (including power). Press power button a few times is dissipate any remaining power. Reconnect and see if it boots.
Call Dell phone support if you still have warranty.
