New Alienware Area 51

So Alienware-Naomi if you know how to change my Area 51 to Black could you tell me whom to contact?

My System just went into Production Today. So the Silver Outside shells could easily be swapped to black before shipping in 2 weeks.

And how about not having enough stock to ship before December?  I ordered mine with in an hour of release and got quoted Dec 15th.

Why bother having a new product launch if you can't ship for 6-7 weeks?

I ordered at 9:05am when they first opened and still got Novmber 25 delivery.

Do you like the silver? Or would you rather have Black?

I just think the black looks better- and since I have 3 Black Alienware running in my office Silver will look out of sorts......

I actually like the silver, something different for a change.  This will be my 3rd AW and I like the shape. 

Still Nov 25th, really, 25th???  They did'nt bother to have any stock on hand for the product launch?

Thats pretty cheap, full options for only 7k ish. I had to pay extreme developing country - tax , bribe the customs , paid for extra handling by the locals,etc total are 12k ish.

SO HERE GOES:

I purchased the Alienware Area 51 top of the line Purchase Price $7,252.00

I ordered the Area 51 at 9:05 October 28, 2014 (the day they went on sale) and was given a delivery date of 24 November.

The Area 51 was in production for a week- and then I got notified on November 6 my order was cancelled no real tangible info explained why the order was cancelled. Alienware then started a New order number and had a New Delivery Date of December 10, 2014.

Today 21 November - I was notified my order has been cancelled again- and a New Order will be started and the Customer Rep stated it looked like the delivery date will now be January 30, 2015.

Well if this is the CASE - I will cancel my order- I don't need to beg Alienware for the computer, There are plenty of places I can get a High End $7,200.00 computer and not have to wait 5 months for delivery.

Has anyone actually received the New ARea 51 ???? I mean if Alienware doesn't have the parts or ability to build the machines- why offer the Computer for sale? Right now I would say the Alienware Area 51 is a HOAX- as I know 2 other associates who purchased the low end machine and still do not have the PC.

In addition - I ordered a New Alienware ALX51 the first week of November 2014.

It arrived when expected.. However- I ordered the Alienware ALX51 with Microsoft Office. I paid for Microsoft Office and it was not loaded on the Computer. I spent 5 hours getting it loaded by Tech Support. In addition- I found out that all Alienware Computers are no longer built in USA-

All Alienware Computers are built in Juarez Mexico. To me this explains everything why Alienware is having so many problems lately.

Just my 2 cents. But if the Area 51 is actually cancelled again as I was notified- and the delivery is expected in January 2015. Then Alienware will not have to worry about me as a customer any longer.
