New RAM XMP
Just ordered these: www.newegg.com/.../Product.aspx
Quick question. Should I boot into BIOS after install and enable XMP or will the BIOS do it automatically?
Aurora R4 (BIOS version A11)
CPU: i7-3820 3.6GHz (OC to 4.2 GHz)
RAM: Currently have stock Samsung 1600MHz in quad channel (4X2gigs)

Ok thank you. I guess I will have to keep my fingers crossed. Do I even need to enable XMP? My current stock ram is 1600 MHz so I picked up a set that matched that with slightly better timings of 9-9-9-24. Isn't XMP a boost? I just want them to be the same speed as my stock RAM @ 1600 MHz, which is what these G.Skill sticks are advertised at, and have double the RAM.

You will need to boot into BIOS and enable it.
Note: We didn't validate those memories for the aurora R4 so we cannot assure you that they will work properly.

There's no need in that case.
Simply plug and play.
