OLED ISSUES!
Hey Guys,
I have a AW 13 R2 with the OLED screen that will no longer dim after a clean install of the os and drivers. I suspect this is a driver issue, but having issues finding a solution. Does anyone have OLED panel that can do me a favor. Under device manager look under monitors and see what it says. Currently my reads Generic PNP Monitor. I want to say that before the clean install it read Intel OLED Monitor or something of the likes. if yours reads oled please send a snapshot? I have installed several drivers, uninstall reinstall several times, still no luck.
Any help is appreciated.

I found the Windows 10 OLED panel driver on the Alienware 13-R2 page?
You should verify that all of the Chipset drivers are installed, then the GPU driver. Then install the Intel OLED panel driver.

I've run into the same issue on a clean install. The driver installs itself just fine, except it installs as a system device (as indicated in the .inf file as well). This ends with the monitor defaulting to the generic monitor driver, and there is no resolution but a clean install from what I see. I certainly don't want to wipe my machine again after just doing that to install a new SSD, and downloading my entire Steam library all over again.
