Override Command center?

I have Area-51 desktop, can I get rid of the temp and fan parts of command center?  Those parts dont seem to work for me; they have such wildly different readings then rivatuner, speedfan and CPUID I dont think it is doing anything productive (those programs were all reading 70-80C under load and command center was sitting where it always has 18C and fans at %1.  I dont care about the lights, the front alien light is nice but the top lights dont come on for whatever reason and the bottom/side lights just highlight how much of a cable mess I have under my desk ;) so those are all set to black anyhow (mind you the settings only save ever third reboot).  I am guessing the fins on the top will not work without, but can I use speedfan or a different program to handle temps and fan speed, and if so what settings do I put into command center or can I uninstall part of it so it will be overridden for all temp and fan settings?

And, yes I do have the latest version and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times using the steps provided in this forum.
