Problem with backlit keyboard
I have an Alienware 17 r2 and for the past couple of weeks I've been having this problem where the backlit keyboard immediately dims down incredibly any time it's not on the charger and any time I power off the laptop the keyboard remains lit (even if it's not on the charger) and will only power off completely when having the power button held down. Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions on fixing it?

Hi,
Try flashing the system Bios to the latest version, click here for the Bios download link. Also, try reinstalling the Alienware Command Center application. Uninstall it first from Programs and Features, then restart the system and install it again. Click here for the Command Center download link.
