Qualcomm Atheros Bluetooth Drivers for Alienware 14
I am pulling my hair out trying to find Drivers for the Bluetooth installed on my Alienware 14. Since upgrading to Windows 8.1 none of my audio peripherals will work anymore.
The drivers from the Dell site are super out of date and no help at all. Anyone else able to fix this issue? Seeing as unless you turn off Windows Updates Microsoft strong arms you into moving to Windows 8.1 now from 8.

Unfortunately nothing I can't even get my mouse to pair now. Everything did work great while running Windows 8.
Update found this
the Second driver down from the top actually worked like a charm.
Huzza to terrorizing my wife with extremely loud bouts on Injustice and Xenoverse.

Uninstall (old outdated) Dell driver suites.
Do one at a time. Disconnect all Bluetooth and USB devices first.
Reboot and let drivers load from Windows Update.
If you need to do WiFi also, try connecting with real Ethernet wire first.

Yeah that is the thing the wifi drivers work great. It is only the bluetooth that seem to not work with Windows 8.1
Even after uninstalling them and trying the generic Bluetooth windows drivers I still can't get any audio device to work through bluetooth.
It is somewhat of a bummer to have this sweet set up but not be able to play games through my bluetooth home theater.
I was hoping that perhaps that the announcement of the free upgrade to windows ten would actually make manufactures work a little more then the normal half *** speed on driver updates.

Try testing Bluetooth with a simple headset or BT-Mouse.
Remember that not all BT Devices support all BT-Profiles (capabilities).
