RAM Question - Upgrading

Hey guys, I have the Alienware 17 r2 with 8gb of ram and want to upgrade it to 16gb of RAM. I have two 'Kingston ValueRAM 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 (PC3-12800) Non-ECC CL11 SODIMM Notebook Memory (KVR16S11/8)' and I was wondering if they are compatible in my Alienware 17 r2. If they are, is it safe to remove the two 4gbs that are in there now and replace them with these two 8gb? Thanks in advance

It would be better to get DDR3L RAM (it's just DDR3 RAM at 1.35v). I don't think that RAM will work fine in the laptop.
