Same problem you are having, before I am using MSI win 7 to play Ran and I had no problem playing, when I thought of buying Alienware because others say it is better when it comes to playing games, I bought this M14x Intel Core i7 3630QM 2.40GHZ, win 8 1TB HDD, 16GB RAM, Nvidia Geforce GT 650M 2GB GDDR5. I installed the game, completely patched but I only and always ending up up to the Game Launcher's Log in and Pass, normally after you entered your Log in and Pass next would appear a pop up that indicates "When Game is prepared, START" right? This is where you will hit "GAME START" to start the game and hit "UPDATE" if there is a new patch available right? Guess what, it never pops out. I started to think that maybe the win 8 has to do with the problem, but one of my co-gamers told me that she is able to run Ran Online in her laptop using win 8, I asked for help from her and she told me "just use the old launcher" of Ran Online and your good to go, I tried it but still the same. Now I am thinking, maybe it is not the win 8, maybe it is the kind or brand of device you are using that has to do with it... So DELL, what can you say about this issue? Please help thanks

I am using Alienware M14x,can't install online game since i bought this laptop.
I don't know what is the problem,please help T_T

Can you install other programs? check to see if you are set as Administrator in your computer. Perhaps it's installing but not able to run?
