Technical support, Command center.

Question

Hello, Thank you for viewing this if and when you do, whomever you are.I was wondering about a technical issue i found in my Alienware x51 computer, it seems that i am unable to make the colors of my computer, mouse, and keyboard, change within intervals, such as adding an event, or just changing the event to be strobe, or other ones, however, anytime i try to do this with my computer, mouse, and keyboard, the + button for the add actions center, is greyed out, and i am unable to customize it. I know it is possible to do it with my system, because I recently got the game called 'Battlefield 3' and when playing the game, the game changes my computer, keyboard, and mouse colors from strobing yellow, to blue, then back, and repeats. Could any of you help me with this matter? I would like to know how to do this, but i am apprently unable to do so.

Thanks for the info. Depending on the Alienware model, some options can be greyed out if they're no available. In this case, this feature is only available when it's been controlled by another application (AlienFX Third Party Access), but it's not available for you to set up manually.

I have watched this video before, and it sadly, does not help my case, i understand how to make it so that the lights do the desired effect, however, it does not allow me to add other actions, as the button for it is grayed out, and along with this, the computer shown in that video, is a different one from mine, so i am not sure that it would work considering the system change. The process may be different.

Hello, it sounds like you may have issues with the command center program itself, have you tried un-installing it, restarting your machine and re-installing it?

Currently, No, i have not restarted my machine after getting rid of the program, let me try that now.

I have now Uninstalled it, and then even installed a newer version of the command center, yet, i am having the exact same problem as before.
