The Programming of AlienFX Theme in Command Center(A05 and A06) doesn´t work

So the error occurs as you restart into Windows correct? Your not running any applications and then get the error?

Besides the error when trying to assign a * .exe as a defined profile, do the other functions in Command Center A05 and A06 work? Changing the lights, fans, etc.

No the Error occurs every time when i choose a Programm.exe for a selfdefined Alien FX Theme in Command Center. First i choose New Theme (advanced). After selecting all light managment i will choose a program.exe (add Programm) for the defined Profile (for example a game.exe)and then i got this error. The command Center closed after this failure. It´s not possible to choose a specific exe for this Theme. So no automated change of a theme for a specific programm is possible.Sorry for the description because the Command Center is in German Language. But after this Failure i can start the command center again. Afterall choosing a programm.exe for a selfdefined theme causes a command center crash as described above.

With A06 all other Functions working fine. With A05 i had the issue with the Vents not shutting down and frontlights are on.But the error when trying to assign a exe occurs in both version of CC. A05 and A06.

We installed a native German language windows 7 ultimate.

We have tried to reproduce the issue and cannot so something is not matching in our setup. Please answer the following:

- Was your windows a native German or the English version with the language package added?
- If the crashing application was a specific one, which one? Or every application installed on the system?
- We have tried couple games that comes with windows, Notepad.exe, Iexplorer.exe and none of those crashed when assigning the EXE in a profile.
- To reproduce the issue, do we need to do something first? Please send me your steps to follow in order to reproduce the issue.

i had a native German Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium installed (comes with the area 51 in Germany). With Home Premium it´s not possible to change Language to other than German.

I would try to explain but its a little bit tricky because my Command Center is in German Language.

1.  I start the Command Center.

3.  Selecting Tab: Theme  - Selecting New Theme

3. choose Advanced (in german erweiterte Einstellungen)

4. Than i select all Lightning for this New Theme

5. than i choose Events (in german Ereignisse) to select a exe that should be assigned to the theme and i always get with every exe choosen this error

After this i´m back to Desktop.

Can´t make any Automatic Profile.(Example if Silent Hunter -SH5.exe starts i want all Lightning blue).But i can´t choose any exe because of the Failure.

Manuell Themes (without choosing a exe) are working.

Could you re-check the command center version installed? Click on the update icon on bottom (will popup a new window with the command center version as title).

Is weird because in advanced mode, there’s not option to select all Lightning at the same time. That’s what I understand in the step 4, is that correct?

I'm from command center software team and we are trying to reproduce the issue here and I can't get into.

This is very weird because when you go to advanced mode is not possible select all the light at the same time.

Could you verify for me and send me the internal command center version number, to do that, click on the Update button at the command center bottom, one popup windows will appear, the command center version number is in the title window of that popup.

Also i want to verify with you the step 4 that you are describing here is in advanced mode. If that's correct, how you select all lightning at the same time?

If i wrote " All Lightning", i mean  i´ll do all choices for each section (1,2,3,4 - Loop or not-  Colour changes) for the Light effects.There is no Option " ALL Lightning ". After this i click on the + to add a Application and get the above described Error.

I understand now, i will need that you send me the full path of any app that is cratching command center. For example "C:\Windows\notepad.exe"

 We want to discard scenarios.

The Command Center itself crashes.

No way to made a profile with a choosen Application for automatic mode.Pls. see below.

Umm, i can't reproduce the issue here in our labs.

Seems that when command center is trying to populate the app list existing in all programs, is encountering a entry that is crashing command center, could be a specific app installed in your system, a old app that left the entry in all Programs when you uninstalled from your system or a shortcut to an encrypted drive or a location reference that is not available.

Could you check out that please?
