Thermal Controller - Account Configuration does not allow application to run properly - door controller error?

My Alienware Aurora ALX had a hard drive crash, so I used the misfortune to swap in a SSD drive and am in the process of getting my PC back up and running.

After installing Win 7 64 bit home premium (from the system disk), I reinstalled the Alienware Command Center from my resources DVD.  My system  was bought in Sept 2010, so it had an older version of Command Center (ver 1), so when it booted up it updated automatically to version 2, but I've encountered some errors:

- AlienFX seems to work fine, but the Thermal Controller isn't working - when the PC boots up, or I try to access that tab on the Command Center, I get the following popup error message:  "your user account configuration does not allow the application to run properly", and a message saying that the "doorcontroller" isn't working (and the vents on top of the Alienware do not move).

- I tried removing Command Center in case it was a driver problem and trying again, but the same problem persists.  I then tried again uninstalling and just using the version from the Resources CD, but an installation message indicating there was a newer version.

- After trying uninstalling/reinstalling a few times, I got a longer popup error message, which I've reprinted below separately.

Please help - I don't know what else to do!

See this:

and my other Favorite threads.

Always "clean install" Command Center. Never use old versions from Resource Disk. Always get versions from http://ftp.dell.com ... v2.6.x or higher.
