Thermal Controller and Alienware FX crashing/not working after windows reinstall
I had to reinstall my system because of a nasty virus which managed to disable my AV, prevent me from installing any programs, prevent any browsers from opening and if there was something in the factory image F:/Recovery/ folder it erased it.
I"m running an Aurora
I've got most everything working except the Thermal Controller software and the Alienware FX. The Thermal control software just crashes with the following error
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

at AlienLabs.ThermalControls.Domain.Profiles.Classes.ProfileProcessorClass.ExecuteVenting(Profile profile)

at MS.Internal.Threading.ExceptionFilterHelper.TryCatchWhen(Object source, Delegate method, Object args, Int32 numArgs, Delegate catchHandler)
and the FX software says "The Theme you are opening is not compatible with this computer. You will not be able to apply the theme."
Can someone help

I hope u didn't install the original command center off ur driver disk if u had updated the command center to the latest version from Dell. If so that's ur problem and it may have also ruined the I/O board. If u did don't tell Dell. Tell them u used the latest version as u are aware that it could fry the board by using old command center. There is a post on the main page explaining this.
