Have re installed the command center from the dell website, also had to do this because my active vents don't work..

I would have suggested you do a system restore prior to reinstalling the CC. So I'm not sure a system restore would work now but that is what I would try.

I am getting the same (almost identical) error pop up, I tried everything from this forum to fix this CC issue but I think my MIO board is dead.

Tried to reset the MIO using this forum as a guide, with no success.

AlienwareAlienFXTester.exe is showing no board detected.

I am running an non-ALX area 51.

Bios version A10

Tried every version of command center with the steps for clean install followed

OS:  Windows7

All lights are inop, vents only move full open and close on cold boot then stick in 50%, and fans run but with no way of controlling them

Am I correct in assuming I will be needing a new MIO?

Thanks.

I guess this is a mute topic these days.  Oh well I guess I will just have to continue to try and unlock the MIO over and over until I replace this computer.

If anyone does care, could some one give me a 100% physical indication that the board is dead, I ask because I have a blue and a orange light illuminated on the board.

Thanks?

If you search the forum for my responses to "MIO Board" or "Command Center" you will find what you are looking for. There is also Forum "Sticky" about it. If you have specific questions, I'll try to help.

Sounds like it's getting power. It's likely just locked-up or in-a-loop.

Every one of your posts refers to look at your other posts that never answer the questions, try cut and paste maybe

If you need assistance, try starting your own thread ... instead of replying to a 3-year old post.

If you were volunteering your time and try to help ... and users were asking the same questions hundreds of times over, you would link to old posts and troubleshooting docs too. In this forum, I can only help users find the tools and resources ... but they must still do the work themselves.

There is a proven and methodical way of troubleshooting MIO-Board problems. If you can't follow simple troubleshooting directions, you are likely going to have to pay a professional to help you ... or leave it broken.

Have a great day !
