Took some pics

Had someone ask a while back for some pics showing my H80 and there was also a discussion about the right light connector on the side panel.

In one of the pics you can see the spacers I used between the two video cards. The spacers are the soft plastic covers that protected the cfx contacts. I used some sticky tape and placed the soft palstic covers in the rear corners of the card to open up a space to allow the top card to breathe.

I also intalled two additional fans. One blows directly onto the mobo and ram, the other (inside the video card cover) blows on the hot section of the cards.

Nice mod !!! I am curious how do you make those ventilation on the side door with fans on it. Also, do you have to change the backplate when you swapped out the old liquid cooling kit?

Both fans for the most part redirect the case air but the top fan does pull in a little fresh air just the way the door is designed in that area.

I had to replace the backplate when I changed out the cooling system. Wasn't as difficult as you would think and the plate is included with the H80. Just make drawings or good pics of everything you disconnect, etc..

Very nice flyer. I'v always believed that cooling should be the first upgrade anyone does. Everything depends on it.
