Touch pad problems

Few weeks ago I had problems with my touch pad unable to use the side scroll so I went and installed new driver and that fixed the problem. Now for some reason after I installed a game the touch pad again in acting funny. The scroll works fine but the tapping doesnt work at all. I went to check if a new driver was released but there wasnt. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get everything running right again?
