trouble with driver update!
Hi @ll!
I want to play the game "sleeping dogs", but after start I see a white screen then it crashes. After some troubleshooting I read that I need a driver update. Stupid as I are I went to the nVidia-homepage and tried to download one of these thousands updates. No one works, now I know why...
Back on the dell & alienware support I found only drivers that are older than the best whiskey I ever drunk.
My system totally support all of the technical requirements, and nVidia is so cute to release one after next update -> why can't I download it?? Or better; why is alienware so busy to do not same?
It makes me... a little bit angry... and I'm german, if you know what I mean (just kiddin')
My System:
Alienware m17x
Graphic card: GTX 260m
Hardware ID:
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0618&SUBSYS_02A11028&REV_A2
Can someone plz help me?

Hi , Try the Nvidia driver again but uninstall the previous driver first, you can use the following article as a guide:
Alienware: Video Driver Clean Installation
And here's the link to the latest verde driver I could find your the 260m:
Verde 301.42 Driver
Let me know how it goes :)
