Upgrading my alienware 17
So I bought my laptop around a year ago, and now i would like to upgrade my graphic card and RAM, so apperentlymy local tech guy said that its impossible to do that, is it true?

I'm not 100% sure about upgrading the card on the laptop but I'm pretty sure you can upgrade the RAM and you can always buy the amplifier and put a gtx 1070 in it

Yes with the graphics amplifier you can install a GTX 1070, I have the 8 gig founders edition in mine, you can't put it in the laptop because the current one is soldered to the Mb so replacement isn't possible, and yes you certainly ca update the memory!
