Just be sure to check your hardware good as you "rebuilt it". Maybe with Dell Diags and MemTest86.
Your problems sound more like hardware to me. Would probably be a good time to clean it out real good (fans too) and maybe re-seat cards and connectors. could be software if you got some malware on there or if the OS got corrupt somehow. Be sure to use a good UPS unit.

I started it up this evening after reinstalling Windows 7 plus drivers yesterday (didn't reformat the disks though)
Worked well through all the install restarts yesterday but within a minute of being in Windows tonight it black screened and froze.
Rebooted it and has worked OK since.
Going to try and use the diagnostic software next.
