Wireless installation problem (network driver)
Hello everyone,
i have just recently formated my alienware m14x and started on downloading and installing the drivers associated with it. However;when i wanted to install the network driver (which contains bluetooth and wireless ans so forth), it starts off with bluetooth which, for its installation, requires me to " turn on bluetooth using the wireless switch". here lies the problem, since i just can't activate bluetooth. In adapters i just have a blutooth one which is activated.
any ideas on how i can get wireless on my laptop?

Had the same problem. The fix is in the following thread:
http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/network-internet-wireless/f/3324/t/19535540.aspx
Scroll down to the bottom of the thread and follow MateAjdukovic post dated 12/10/2013. You have to figure out the "device instance" of the wireless card, go to a 3rd party website, lookup the card and it will provide a link to Dell's website for the proper driver download. Sounds convoluted but the solution works.
