Witcher 3 Game code

I purchased an Alienware 15 with a GeForce 970 video card a few weeks ago and was told that qualifies me for the copy of The Witcher 3 game which is out today (I  asked about it specifically and I have a email copy of the chat I had at the time with a sales rep).

My order summary didn't list the Witcher 3 specifically but it has the line item:

1 800-BBKV

FREE game with purchase of a GeForce GTX 700 GPU-powered desktop

This thread

says we are to get a code by email when the game's released, I haven't gotten any such email

How do I get my Witcher 3 game code?

So after four days of this mess, I managed to retrieve one code from my Dell Locker. (We had purchased two alienware laptops so should have gotten two codes, right?) Another rep proceeded to tell me that the first computer (ordered 1 1/2 weeks before the 2nd one) was not eligible for the Witcher 3 promotion. I proceeded to tell her that it's awfully funny b/c on my packaging slip, it states very plainly the Dell product code for it, just like on the 2nd laptop's packaging slip. So I'm off to the Better Business *** to report this. Ah, and you can be assured, I won't be ordering from Dell ever again. Their customer service has gone down the toilet.

Hello Milena, hope you're doing very well.

As per my conversation with Pro Support Engineer Luis A. Vergara G., I was directed to this website.

I recently bought a 17" laptop, which comes with a 980M. I'm pretty sure it qualifies for the Wichter 3/Batman codes, but unfortunately I have received none as of this date. Also, said should have a Locker user account, but could not log in by any means because the platform does not recognise my email address at all.

I have provided my PO number, which proves I purchased my machine directly from Dell, but seems it has not been enough. It's been more than 15 month I have purchased my computer, and want to point out I had an issue with your platform as someone generated manually my order number. Do not know if this might cause any issue with your system. Have been waiting patiently for days, and no resolution has been provided.

Thanks, and hope you can understand this makes me feel very dissatisfied with my purchase.

Aliennation,

The free code for Witcher 3 only applied to systems with the correct GPU purchased since April 1, 2015. You stated,

"It's been more than 15 month I have purchased my computer"

So which is it? Purchased recently or 15 months ago?

Hi Chris,hope your day is going great.

I'm afraid that's a typo. I think it was purchased back in February 2015. What about the Batman code,  is it the same case? I do not have a locker account, should I have one?

You can email the Alienware team for further assistance. Provide to them the service tag and issues.

Hi Chris,

hope all is well.

Since you are the person responding I think the rightful thing would be you to provide the answers as you are the owner of this issue now. I don't want to continue to go to circles here.  I believe you can perfectly contact Alien Team and further assist me. it is honestly very disrespectful of you, would you please at least have the decency of pretending you care about your customers?.

You have not responded to any of my questions, if you do not have the kindness to help me, then will need to escalate you as I am getting impatient.

The Alienware team has the rights to access your private data. You must go through them to validate the code. Or send a private message to Alienware-Milena with your data (service tag number, order number, etc,).

Hey Tazflyr, When did you order both of your laptops. I ordered my laptop on April 14 and shipped on the 27th. At the time of my purchase it stated free witcher 3 code. After weeks of calling and emailing dell this is the response i get from them. 

I got the latest update in your case. The Software Team states that your computer doesn’t apply for the promo provided by Nvidia. As per Nvidia website, the promo was from May 10th to May 31st, 2015 offered in the laptops with Nvidia GPU’s purchased during that time.

Your order was placed on April 27th which means that the order doesn’t apply for this bundle. I’m really sorry for the misunderstanding and the inconvenience this may cause.

I would try again if I were you. I ordered mine on April 28, 2015 and the promo was on then. It says right on my cart FREE copy of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with purchase of a GeForce GTX 900 series DPU powered DT (I bought a laptop and don't know why all these things say DT)

My packing slip says

ktop

800-BBKV

I have not tried to contact Dell to find out where my game is. I will do that today.

Good luck and don't give up. They don't seem to know what they are talking about at Dell.

Hey xoomison when did you order your laptop on what date exactly. Dell is saying I didnt order it in the right time frame.

I ordered mine on April 28, 2015 and the offer was going on then.

if your invoice has a free game on it, then you should get it (or at least something)

I also have a print out of the web page when I was thinking about buying one that has the free Witcher 3 on it. That was dated 4/18/2015. So the offer was going on then.

I really do not think these people know what they are doing.

I emailed customer care yesterday to ask about my game. I am waiting to hear what they say. I will post if I get an answer. They did say they are checking into it.

I can't do the "online chat" with them because you can tell they just give canned information.

Good Luck and don't give up. If your invoice has a game on it then you should get something.

 I also have a photo I took of the web site that says the game comes with the it dated 4/12/2015.
