X51 R1 WINDOWS 8.1 SECURE BOOT
Hi,
How do I configure my x51 (R1) to turn secure boot on to remove the watermark on the desktop ?

But the option is in bios ! Can it not be switched on or does it need a processor upgrade ?

If it is grey out in the bios like mine was you need a GOP bios update for your video card from the video card manufacture, know microsoft did provide a update to remove the watermark but i will tell you what i told a thousand others All they did was hack there operating system and removed the watermark, which dose not fix secure boot at all. if you have the factory card that came with your system then dell needs to provide you with a GOP bios update for that card but they will not, as they don't think its relevant.
