x51 R2 Gpu upgrade

My set up is a 

Gtx 670

i7-4770k 

16 gb ram

256 SDD

1 Tb Sata

330W PS

i was wondering if i can run that without any problems with this build? also it doesn't have to be a 970, i just wanted something on the same lvl of a 670 or better like 960. The only issue is i want a video card that fits, runs better then a 670 , has 4gb of video ram and has 2 DVI ports for my monitors. The 970 i linked above does all of that but the only issue is its kind of costly. I was wondering if there is a cheaper alternative in the 970 or 960 category and if there isn't  will that 970 work fine without any mods and etc.
