720 cpu throttleing???

Question

Ok, was just looking at CPU-Z and the processor will jump between 1600 and 2400. I've seen this with laptops but not a desktop. Checked the power settings and switched it to always on, but still having the issue of it jumping, I'd prefer it at it's full clock speed all the time so it never has to catch up. Anyone have any clues?

In the BIOS, make sure SpeedStep and C1E are disabled or off.

You have to have BIOS version A03 in order to access C1E.
