Nothing that I know of.  I've used both without problems.  Are these USB mice?  Did you load the drivers?

I responded to this same problem in your previous thread but you never answered any of my questions or said if you tried any of the things I suggested. :(

That part of about using Dell mice?  What a bunch of bull I had a Dell 8500 inspirion laptop and I had a Logitech USB mouse on it.  My friend has 2 Dells a Dimension 3000 which is getting reycled back to Dell and a Dimension E521 which I'm currently on.  She has a wireless keyboard and mouse combo by Micro innovations all you do is install the software and it works fine and dnady now you need to have a generic keyboard and mouse hooked up if you're gonna restare the thing using the Dell PC restore but other than that a mouse is a mouse and a keyboard is a keyboard.
