Accessories

I have a Dell Dimension XPS T600r. I recently installed the software for a Microtek scanner and unfortunately the software modidied my Accessories file. If someone has a the same computer can you tell me what you see when you hit Start then Programs and then Accessories? (When I go to Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel, then click on the Windows Setup Tab and choose the Accessories option, what I get is different from what I saw originally.)

Tarz,

The accessories listed in the location you specified are Windows components and cannot be modified by peripheral software. That being said, the listing of Accessories on the Windows Setup tab in Windows 98 includes: Briefcase, Calculator, Desktop Wallpaper, Document Templates, Games, Imaging, Mouse Pointers, QuickView, Screen Savers, Windows Scripting Host, and WordPad.
