Add or Remove Programs issue... HELP

I was wondering if someone could possibly help me....
Whenever I try to remove certain applications ( ex: Adaware ) I get the following error message:
Could not open INSTALL.LOG file.
Thsi is very annoying... How can I get around this and finally clean up unwanted stuff ?

:smileyindifferent: I had this problem before.>>I tried three things: First,All programs/Adaware or Lavasoft,there is usually a line that says"uninstall".>>Second,The file itself/Adaware or Lavasoft has and uninstall option.>>Third, Software website is Lavasoft.com and you can email them for an answer and they will help.>>The second step worked for me and hope one of them step works for you.
