The simplest solution would be for you to buy a powered USB Hub to add any other devices. They're made by several different manufacturers in different combinations(4port, 7port combination USB serial and parallel) Just plug the hub into the USB port on the rear of the computer and connect any devices to that.

whats the main difference when you plugged ur digital camera into USB port and serial port? Do they run alot faster if you plugged USB port than using serial port??
I don't have a digital camera,just a scanner and printer hooked up USB,but rumor has it that they operate faster through USB than serial or parallel port attached. I'm sure some others can offer you more opinions.

Parallel ports transfer data at 2MB/S.
USB ports transfer data at 1.5MB/S.
