You shouldn't need a BIOS update to fix this problem.

Go to nvidia.com and download the latest version of the driver that's compatible with your video card.

Now uninstall the current video driver: Right click on “My Computer,” and select Properties. Click “Hardware” tab, then “Device Manager.” Double click “Display Adapters.” You should now see your NVIDIA card listed. Right-click it and “Uninstall”.

Now follow the directions from nvidia to install the new driver and then reboot.

Thanks for replying. I did what you said and still the system crashed. I put my old video card in and it works with videos. The driver is the same for both cards. I am thinking the card might be bad?

You never said what you're using to watch videos. It's possible that app configured itself to work with your old video card and not with the new one, even though they use the same drivers. You might want to uninstall and reinstall that video app...

I have used YouTube, any advertisement video on web sites.  News websites.Posted video on face book. I just updated to media player 11 and updated cineplayer and still it crashes watching any video. I have updated media center also.

Did you reinstall media player with the new card installed?

It is beginning to sound like maybe the new card died. If it's under warranty, you might want to check with the manufacturer...

Well, I have my video card working again. It was not compatible with flash acceleration. I just right clicked on the video and disabled it. I also got into my system and changed the boot sequence to disable the A drive, since I don't have one installed.
