Ahqtb ? Windows Startup loading error

Hello,

I have a tough question for anyone up to a challenge out there...At times, (it seems like the randomest of times) when i turn on my computer and Windows 98 loads all the small icons and programs on the bottom right task bar - at times i get an

Ahqtb "program not responding.." etc type of window.

I also learned after playing around that i have to hit ctrl-alt-delete and "end task" the Lxsupmon and Printray tasks, and then my Windows finally opens up completely once these programs are shut down.

How do i remedy this?
I have a Lexmark Z32 monitor, and thought that its drivers might be conflicting somehow for some reason, but i think it might be windows startup programs related.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you.

Hello,
I'm not sure what needs to be fixed, but according to what I have read, this is related to your sound card. Perhaps if you reloaded the drivers for your card...possibly they are corrupted.

The link that has Ahqtb mentioned(I'm sure there are others) is here:

Perhaps someone here knows of this issue and can followup on this post.

Mike

Ahqtb starts your surround sound. Go to run/type msconfig/ Go or enter/ the startup tab/ uncheck Ahqtb. That will stop the error if nothing else does.
