air flow in or out computer

Does the main fan in the Dimension 8300 has to blow fresh air into the computer (through the green cap towards the processor) or does it has to blow the air out of the computer?   Thanks

and this kind of cooling works ? i mean whats the limit it can cool a 3 ghz northwood on a 4600 should have no problems rights ? i upgraded from a 2.66 to a 3 with ht

Going from a 2.66 to a 3.0 will not increase the heat enough to worry about.

Even using normal aftermarket heatsinks, there is less than a 1-2c difference between blowing air on the CPU and blowing it off of the CPU.
