Analog Input: Cannot display this video mode error
I have a Dell 8300 desktop and suddenly my monitor started to flicker and then blink to a BLACK screen. I can turn it off and turn it back on to get a display. However, I disconnected it and reconnected it to see if that would help and now I am getting a message "Analog input cannot display this video". Can anyone suggest anything that I can do to fix it. I am operating Windows XP SP2 .
Thanks

You need to troubleshoot to see whether it's your video card that is acting up or the monitor which means you either connect another monitor to your PC or the monitor to another PC. Your choice.

My guess is that the video is toast.

I just connected another monitor to my PC and I got the same message. What does that mean?
